Hi, I am Andrea, a degree-level qualified acupuncturist.  I use Traditional Chinese medicine to help people with pain.  That might be musculoskeletal, headaches, migraines or even period pains.  It can be acute or chronic pain.

In this talk I am going to talk about:

• How pain is never just about the pain.  It is how it affects our daily lives either through not being able to do the things we love, or not getting restorative sleep.  Or how it can affect us mentally.
• How everyone's pain will be unique to them, and what this means in acupuncture
• I am going to talk about the science behind acupuncture for pain, what are the mechanisms that are initiated
• Let's talk about the evidence for acupuncture for pain
• I will show you the tools I use in treating pain
